Title information

That which defines a field of study is its vocabulary. But vocabulary is a beast few can master. This is especially true for the fields of crisis intervention and disaster mental health wherein no generally accepted nomenclature exists. The Glossary of Key Terms and Concepts in Crisis Intervention and Disaster Mental Health offers an essential, but user friendly, guide designed to take the mystery out of the study and practice within these critical fields. Compiled by Dr George S. Everly, Jr., one of the “founding fathers” of the field of disaster mental health, the Glossary integrates both public health and individual psychological support perspectives. The Glossary is an essential reference for students and seasoned practitioners, peers and clinicians.
